A Journey Just Begun

Vashon 101 is an eleven session survey course looking at Vashon from multiple viewpoints:  geology, ecology, history, culture, and social sciences.  Faculty are experts in their fields either as academics or practitioners.

Vashon 101 classroom sessions start September 4 and run through November 20, 2008.  In addition, there is a recommended, but optional, boat cruise on August 17.  All sessions except the optional boat cruise meet on Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, at Vashon College’s Sheffield Building just south of town at 18850 103rd SW.

Applications for the Fall 2008 class are being accepted beginning July 1, 2008.
Tuition for classroom sessions is $275.  Partial scholarship assistance is possible.  Clock Hours for teachers are available.  An Early Bird Special price of $225 is good through August 21, 2008.
