Applications flooded in for the new Vashon College class, Artful Vashon, and the class organizers, Joe Meeker and Melissa Bangasser, have announced that the course is now full.  Applicants were taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and admitted students have been notified.  People who had still hoped to enroll are encouraged to put their names on an Alternate’s Waitlist by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  If spots open up, students will be invited from the waitlist to join the class.  The waitlist will be given first priority to register when the next class is offered, probably Spring Semester 2009. 

Applicants who submitted forms during the past week but could not be admitted, will be contacted and given the option to stay on the waitlist or remove their names.  “We are so sorry we couldn’t take everyone this time around, but hope next February to see the people we missed this year,” commented Joe and Melissa.
