Vashon 101

Vashon 101: A Journey Just Begun is a six session survey course examining the Vashon story in-depth and from multiple viewpoints: geology, ecology, history, culture, social sciences, and island demographics.

Faculty members are experts in their fields, either as academics or practitioners.

Vashon 101 classroom sessions start March 13 and run through April 17, 2012. All sessions are on Tuesday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Vashon College in the Sheffield Building, just south of town at 18850 103rd Ave SW.

Vashon College seeks applicants for Vashon 101 who represent a wide spectrum of Vashon’s population, and who will be engaged and committed students, and who will seek opportunities to take their knowledge back into their island communities.
